These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wewell platform (the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Wewell, a community platform designed to connect students based on their interests.

2. Account Registration 

To use our platform, users are required to sign in using their school Google Workspace account. By registering, you confirm that you are a student at the school and agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

3. Data Collection and Usage 

We collect statistical data about platform usage to optimise our services. All data is collected and processed on our secure infrastructure and will not be sold or provided to any third party. Our data practices are compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

4. Content Guidelines 

Users may upload content that adheres to the school’s rules as outlined in the School Rules Document. We prohibit any form of spam and hate speech. Content must be appropriate and respectful to all members of the community. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines or is otherwise deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.

5. Prohibited Actions 

Users are prohibited from engaging in the following actions:

• Posting or disseminating spam
• Engaging in hate speech or any form of harassment
• Violating any school rules as outlined in the provided document

Users found engaging in such conduct will be subject to account suspension or termination.

6. Conflict Resolution 

Any disputes or conflicts between users will be resolved through a process managed by the school. Users agree to cooperate with the school’s conflict resolution process and to abide by the final decision.

7. Community Guidelines 

We aim to provide a safe and inclusive community for all users. In addition to these ToS, users are expected to adhere to our community guidelines, which promote respect, safety, and constructive engagement. Violation of community guidelines may result in account suspension or termination.

8. Account Deletion 

Users have the right to submit a data removal request in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to our data security and privacy practices as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

9. Data Security and Privacy 

We take the security and privacy of user data seriously and follow GDPR guidelines to ensure data protection. Our measures include secure data storage, regular security audits, and strict access controls. 

10. Account and Data Deletion 

Users have the right to request the deletion of their accounts and personal data in accordance with GDPR. To submit a data removal request, please contact the platform administrator.
